JORDAN MCARLETON

ABOUT ME:

Here’s the things I believe about golf:

  1. Golf is more fun when you're getting better.

  2. Golf is easier when you're enjoying the struggle.

  3. Golf is a mixture of art and science, and you need to learn them both.

Here's how I've come to those understandings.

I am the current Director of Golf for University of Detroit Mercy (NCAA Division 1 ). I started my collegiate coaching career at Albion with the women’s golf team in 2010 before adding the men’s team 2013. I was taught at the David Leadbetter Golf Academy, and I'm now a PGA Associate member. I've been teaching and competing for more than 20 years. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in English from Albion in 2003 and a Master of Arts in Journalism from Michigan State in 2012.

If you take a lesson or experience one of our player development programs, here's what you can expect - someone who loves to teach and communicate, and someone focused on what YOU want to get out of the game of golf.

More personally, I have two fun, rowdy boys, seven and nine years old and a wonderful wife who supports this life-affirming career.
